Healthcare or Education, what's important to you?

Barack Obama's View on Healthcare

One of Barack Obama's plan for health coverage is to promote and provide affordable, accessible, and high-quality health care. Health care is one of biggest cause of bankruptcy. "On health care reform, the American people are too often offered two extremes - government-run health care with higher taxes or letting the insurance companies operate without rules. Barack Obama and Joe Biden believe both of these extremes are wrong…" All children need to have health care. He would make a national health care that is affordable to individuals and small businesses. Barack Obama supports universal health care and should buy medicine in bulk, to make costs of prescriptions cheaper. Barack Obama will make changes in the health care system to benefit all Americans.

John McCain's View on Healthcare

John McCain believes we must provide health care for every American. He looks to providing a refundable 2,500 tax credit and 5000 for families to balance the cost of health insurance. He belives that insurance should follow families even after they change their occupation or move to another state. He looks forward to working with Congress to develop specific plans to "reduce costs such as disease management, individual case management, and health and wellness programs" for the people. He also looks to lowering costs on drugs, provide cheaper treatment for people with chronic diseases, and ask states to provide a plan to lower the costs of insurance policies.
